filter is an audio-motional exploration of the formation of one’s self-image in the 2000s the piece examines the impacts of social media, holy scriptures and one’s own past on the present moment the performance contemplates the impact of another person’s words and actions during one’s youth and in relation to the following adulthood through dance, contemporary circus and sound how do · see myself now? and how do others see me? what if · am enough “just the way · am”?
