agrisirkus—residence and performance space for circus artists  ( 2016—2019 )

agrisirkus was founded by circus artists milla jarko and linda helske                it was founded inspired by the will to develop circus culture in finland and to increase the sense of community within the art form                jarko acted as the artistic director and producer of agrisirkus, while helske was the managing director

the artists in residence could work on new or already existing performance pieces, and early career or marginalized artists were prioritized                countryside as the environment gave a setting for unhurried pressureless working                    video from the residence—naga collective

agrisirkus was realized in collaboration with the farm animal yard rehndahl owned by helske in kirkkonummi in the years 2016—2019                in 2017 also a one day free entry circus festival named agri-festival was held                to our delight the festival reached nearly a hundred spectators                 photos from agri-festival
